Initial Design Consultation

Shortly after submitting a form on our website, Joe, the owner of Mass Hardscapes will reply back to you to set up a time to come meet with you at your property to talk in more detail about the project, the cost, products, timing etc. At this point Joe will gather all of the information needed to put together a design for your project. We put together a basic, colored 2d design for all of our projects, even basic walkway and patio projects. All medium and large scale projects require a more detailed 2d design, like the one below, with a cost of $150 due at this time. For some customers, a 3d rendering is needed to visualize the space completely, usually costing an additional $350-$850.

Finalizing the design and products

After paying for your 3d design if applicable, Joe will send you your 2d plan and 3d renderings. After reviewing the design, let Josh know if you would like any changes to the design. Once the design fully matches what you are envisioning, we can move on to picking products. During the initial design consultation you will be given product catalogs and may even be shown physical samples of products. Some customers also choose to visit one of our product dealers outdoor showrooms to select products.

The last portion of the design and planning stage! You have your design nailed down and products picked out. Once all of this information is correct, you will be given a contract detailing the project as well as the costs associated. After reviewing the contract, a copy can be signed and sent back to Mass Hardscapes with a 10% retainer to hold your spot on our calendar. Now that the planning is done, all you have to do is wait and Mass Hardscapes will be breaking ground on your project before you know it!
